Who we are

hellobacho.com ("HelloBacho", "we", "us") is operated by Kritumbh Ventures Pvt Ltd, Ward No 55, Revenue Circle, 50b, New Holding 134c/22, Pahari, Sampatchak - 800007, Patna, Bihar, India. We are the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (SPDI Rules).

Data we collect

  • Order details: name, phone number, email, delivery address and pincode.
  • Payment details: processed by our payment partners. We do not store card numbers, UPI PINs or net-banking passwords. For COD refunds we may ask for bank account or UPI details.
  • Communication: messages, emails, WhatsApp chats and unboxing videos you send us.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed and cookies.

We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Orders are placed by parents or guardians.

Why we use it

  • To process, ship and deliver your orders, including Cash on Delivery.
  • To send order, shipping and support updates by SMS, email or WhatsApp.
  • To handle returns, refunds and complaints.
  • To prevent fraud and meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
  • To send offers, only where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
  • To improve our website and ads using analytics and advertising cookies.

Consent and legal basis

We process your data with your consent, given when you place an order or submit a form, or for legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act, such as fulfilling an order you asked for or complying with law. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done.

Who we share it with

We share data only as needed with: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment gateways, courier and logistics partners, messaging providers (SMS, email, WhatsApp), analytics and advertising partners (such as Google and Meta), and government authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data. Some partners may store data outside India, with appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart, remember preferences, measure traffic and show relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but some features may not work properly.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example tax and invoice records). After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We follow reasonable security practices, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls and trusted service providers. No online system is fully secure, so please keep your account details safe.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can: access a summary of your personal data; ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it; withdraw consent; nominate another person to exercise your rights; and raise a grievance with us.
